In 2007, Maureen Patin founded What a Good Dog! Training in a horse barn in Prosper, Texas. With the support of her husband, Harold, she left a long career as an executive with PepsiCo to follow her dream. Already a life-long dog enthusiast, she had experience in competitive obedience, and teaching basic obedience classes for a local parks and rec department. Maureen’s vision was to build a dog training facility that would ignite a passion for training in pet owners.
Best Friends Fun Farm is located in McKinney, Texas, about 45 minutes north of Dallas. We are on two acres with a fenced, lighted grass field and a heated training building with packed dirt flooring.
Established in 2000, Best Friends is one of the oldest agility schools in the DFW area. We teach a wide variety of breeds and handling styles with enormous successes in the ring.
Dancing Dogs
We offer a range of services that can help. Some dogs (and owners!) do better with the quiet focus of a one-on one private session. Other handlers want to practice good manners around other dogs in our group classes. Our advanced classes work for the advanced pet owner as well as those who are competition bound! Located in Boyd, Texas.
DOG TRAINING CLUB OF DALLAS COUNTY
The Dog Training Club of Dallas County (DTCDC) is a club made up of dog lovers banded together to promote obedience training and responsible dog ownership, which allows us to more fully enjoy our furry companions. Located in Duncanville, Texas.
PETS WEST ALEDO is the premier retailer of premium food and supplies for your canine and feline companions. We have 4,000 square feet of retail space, 4,000 sq/ft TRAINING FACILITY and 2,000 sq/ft of REHABILITATION & CONDITIONING FACILITY. Multiple training classes are held weekly including PUPPY, ADVANCED, UTILITY, AGILITY & CONFORMATION. We stock over 30 brands of dog food in dry, canned, fresh frozen and raw. The SELF SERVICE DOG WASH has three wash bays in various sizes which come equipped with shampoo, grooming/washing tools, towels and you can leave the mess behind! Our helpful and experienced staff will assist you in making the proper choice for your companion’s health needs based on nutritional content, age, size and health status. And of course, our staff will load your vehicle with your purchase.
